Nifty, but I still want to see Shocker, Rhino and the Beatle first.

@dry-roasted-peanuts: Which one? There's only two Beatles left, keep in mind.

Well, at least he didn't wind up with two arms, two legs... And four penises. THAT would have been awkward.

I would be totally cool with an appearance by The Lizard. Morbius? Not so much.

I'm all for it! I was really hoping the next villain would be either Morbius or Werewolf by Night because they're both perfect for spin offs. Kraven would be a better villain to match with Lizard when they get around to mutating him, imho.

@Final: Could make for a great premise - have Kraven arrive trying to hunt Spider-Man, until he finds a more enticing prey in the Lizard. At this point, Spider-Man has to keep the Lizard in check, but also prevent Kraven from harming him, knowing that the Lizard is his mentor, Dr. Connors.

Clone Saga. All of it. In one 90 minute movie.

Uh, I think that keeping Morbius and leaving out the 6 arms would be fine. This is actually the first villain possibility I've heard about from the official sources that I actually like.

Also, if this movie has even ONE MINUTE of Tobey/Parker whining about being Spider-Man it will fail for me personally. And that includes adapting this particular storyline: "Waaaaaaah I want to cure myself boo hoo cry bitch moan". Even though this story is taken directyly from the comic, it would be nice to get some love for the parts of the Spider-Man history where he was actually a confident person who thought he was awesome. The incessant complaining (not helped by Tobey's utter lack of personality in the role) is tiresome.

@Lassus: I concur. I couldn't force myself to watch spiderman 3 because I can't take one more self-pitying whine. One of my fanboy friends mistakes this for depth, WHICH IT IS NOT. Constant whining is not an indication of either depth or character development. It is, in fact, character stagnation.
