    i'd say there were downsides with the toilet sandwich worms: not knowing whose personality really shines through, severed nerve cells, and possible loss of the love of a fabulous cyclops babe.


    i would like to throw in the X-Files episode where a man puts out chubby-chasing personals on the Internet. why? he needs to eat their fat to live! durr! upsides: flirting; infatuation; weight loss. downsides: the fact that in this case, you really are just a piece of meat; death.

    @geekgrrl: Both the severed nerve cells and loss of love are side-effects of the *removal* of the worms, not of the infestation itself. The personality issue is a fair enough point, though. Also, the strength and flexibility of Gumbercules.
