Ok, so this just implants memories, right? So do they know enough about the brain to give you the muscle memory, or would you have to go through infuriating hours of training once you already have memories of learning in order to make your body physically capable of kung fu, or painting, or what have you?

Also, if this is just memories, it would really be good mainly for recreational use. Because I have memories of Physical Chemistry lectures. I went to every damn one. But I am useless when it comes to that stuff. then again, maybe memories where the lecturer wasn't senile would be beneficial.

@Themindtaker: Yeah, I don't think you could learn kung fu this way--moreover, even you could learn the muscle memory part, so much of kung fu is condition on physically developing muscles in certain kinds of ways that you wouldn't be any good at it.

And, of course, from a philosophical level it's impossible to learn kung fu this way. Kung Fu means literally "a difficult skill learned over time." Anything that takes a long time to master counts as kung fu--and, no matter how high you can kick, if you had it just crammed into your brain, it doesn't count at all.
