I suppose if they did an origins movie they'd mix in all the later retconning (is that the right word?) about Mystique being his mom etc. feh.
Still, I loved the Bamf-assualt in the second movie.
I'd rather see him cruising eurotrash clubs and fighting bigotry with an Errol Flynn panache. "Hey leibschen, I just foiled some terrorists, you like ze mutant tail? Und now ve dance! JA!!" OONTZ OONTZ OONTZ!
C'mon, that would be fun! A nice change from sky-screamin', broodin' sideburn boys.

It was awesome, and he was dead. Stone fucking dead.

it was about as gory as you can get, and the 7-eleven vendor had to give me flak about giving it to a 12 year old.
there was some good art in it, story not so bad either.

As such, Wolverine lives in my heart and mind, but his like never passes my retinas if I can help it anymore.

Has this been done? Forgive my ignorance, I wandered away from X-Men before Rob "People have like seventy teeth, right?" Leifeld showed up. Because of this I have no idea who Deadpool is, seems quite popular though.

Sometimes I'll mention how horrible comics were in the mid-to-late 90s, and someone will ask, "What made them so bad?" and I'll say, "Well, there were several complex reasons, but basically, Rob Liefeld."

That being said, even though Marvel has milked this character to death a few times over, his backstory is still pretty rich, and he does make for some great storytelling.
(I'm crossing my fingers that he wears a patch at some point during the film)

He would.
That's all I've ever wanted to know. Even Marvel wouldn't answer that question for me. IO9 did. Kudos!
