I'm torn on the new cel-shady look. Some screenshots look really good, but as CJA points out, sometimes it doesn't work. I think that it looks too shiny when it doesn't work.
Otherwise, I am eagerly awaiting this release. It looks like tons of fun.
@BullLifter: I'll wait until I see some motion to render a final opinion on that, but I'm excited for a game that actually takes place in a brightly lit area where things stand out from their background a bit.
I'm so tired of watching ads before I watch ads online. And do the directors of Batman and Nightwatch really hold a strong Dove Nectarine Body-mist demographic?
And Hot Topic must be excited because this will give them at least 10 years worth of merchandising opportunities.
@Garrison Dean: Dove Body-mist makes excellent bait. "Dont worry there is nothing suspicious about that care package of soaps and body sprays. That previously placed box overhead is in no way related."
And this movie looks far too cool. It really is the movie I am looking forward to this summer. Coming from such a huge trekkie, that says a lot about the other "movies".
@lightninglouie: that would be "Warrior of the Lost World." man, was that Paper Chase guy unlikable.
when i read the article i thought she was talking about another MST'd movie, "Escape from the Bronx," with the immortal character Toblerone. amazingly enough, that's all i can remember about it.
"The thing that jumps out at me, though, is the six-inch figure with the metal hand. That looks like John Connor, not Marcus, which lends more credence to the idea that Connor gets Terminatorized at some point."
You're reaching. There's no way that even remotely resembles John. Not that it's very much Marcus either, but it's closer at least.
@KSChris: You're probably right... I keep going back and forth about it. It's not a very good likeness of either Sam Worthington or Christian Bale, but I decided it looks a fair bit like the figure on the far left of the third picture, who I think is definitely supposed to be Bale. But it could definitely be Marcus. If so, then who's mohawk guy???
@Jim Still Canuck After All These Years: No, no... I didn't say P-Funk *was* disco... more that the Atomic Dog video takes place in some kind of weird video-game discoteque. Or video-game dance club, if you prefer. I yield to no-one in my love of George Clinton. I have an autographed dog sketch of his at home.

You did NOT just associate George Clinton, chairman of the Parliament Funkadelic with ... disco???!????
You will be forgiven, in time, because we love.
