    This movie fits right in with a Big Trouble in Little China, My Science Project and The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension marathon.


    Plus, it completely rips off the scene from the Warriors where they are running from the Turnbull ACs.


    So much over the top fun...


    /admittedly, I can see how some would hate it too.

    @Garrison Dean: R.O.A.C.H.: Well, as you might have gleaned from the other comments in this thread, there are still ppl who are unaware of the greatness of Doomsday. Shocking, I know. Plus I just got the unrated DVD for $5 and wanted to showcase just how much more exciting it is in the unrated version.

    @Charlie Jane Anders: Well then it was done with the best of intentions so I forgive you. I know. There are too many who haven't tasted the brilliance that is this film, and just as many again who fail to understand it.

    I find it sad that this film is pissed on by the same people who hold up and praise faux grindhouse pictures and eagerly await the DVD releases of "lost classics" of the batshit crazy genre.
