You've seen the brooding first trailer for Andrew Stanton's movie adaptation of Edgar Rice Burrough's Martian war tale John Carter. Now check out the much faster Led Zeppelin war-in-the-stars trailer.

The trailer debuted on Good Morning America today with the newly shorn Taylor Kitsch in tow. Here's a little peek, and there should be a high-res version released later today that we'll post ASAP. John Carter opens in theaters on March 9th, 2012. Here's the synopsis:

Transplanted to Mars, a Civil War vet discovers a lush planet inhabited by 12-foot tall barbarians. Finding himself a prisoner of these creatures, he escapes, only to encounter a princess who is in desperate need of a savior.
