The Butterfly Effect gets a reboot for reasons we can't comprehendS It's been nine years since Ashton Kutcher seized himself back into his own past by reading, and now the original movie creators of The Butterfly Effect are ready to reboot. Which, LOL, why not?

Variety is reporting that the original production companies FilmEngine and Benderspink are developing a Butterfly Effect remake. Half of the screenwriting duo, Eric Bress, is back on board to reboot the script. The movie is about a boy who travels back in time to right the wrongs of the future, which fucks everything up even more. Fingers crossed they can keep their original ending where Ashton KILLS HIMSELF IN HIS MOTHER'S WOMB.

Honestly, we kind of liked the movie if only to see the same characters in different outfits with personalities because ask Orphan Black, we love that shit. But unlike The Butterfly Effect, Orphan Black was really well-made. But it could still be good, who knows?
