The Game of Thrones cast has an ‘80s theme party in this awesome art

What if John Hughes directed Game of Thrones? Well, it probably wouldn't look anything like this, because it would still be set in the medieval fantasy realm of Westeros, but artist Mike Wrobel has painted much of the GoT cast in '80s and early '90s fashions, and they're just phenomenally brilliant. Take a look!

If you're interested in buying any of these as prints, Wrobel has an online store here (his other pop culture art is likewise awesome; you may end up on a spending spree).

I do hope Wrobel will continue the series with Bran, Catelyn, Varys, Littlefinger, Genndry, Hodor and the rest. Do you have any suggestions for styles or fashions for as-yet-unpainted characters? For some reason I'm seeing Varys as a hardcore punk. And Ned maybe as an uptight principal.
