William Geerhart, a Los Angeles record producer, started writing prank letters to famous people years ago, as a fictitious third-grader named Little Billy, and now the results are collected in a book. Among other things, Little Billy wrote to then-Attorney General Janet Reno to ask who's the better crime-fighter, Batman or the Terminator? Replies Reno, "I read Batman comics when I was your age so I know of his efforts to fight crime better than I know of the Terminator's work." Also, "Little Billy" wrote to feminist pioneer Gloria Steinem to ask, "If the Six Million Dollar Man hit the Bionic Woman in a fight, would that be wrong?"
