Wondering what to expect from AMC's remake of the classic paranoiafest that is The Prisoner? Apparently something that may look a lot like the serene and calm design of the 1960s and '70s, but have an up-to-date technological sinister undertone, according to two behind the scenes videos released recently. You may know about The Village and Rover, but are you ready for the worm cam? More »

A new video of the first table read for AMC's remake of 60's imprisoned-spy series The Prisoner shows the cast and crew psyching themselves up to play the Villagers. The most endearing thing is hearing nervous Jim Caviezel (playing the main character Number 6) and Ian McKellen (who plays the evil Number 2) both talk about their anxiety about revamping one of television's few great philosophical/psychological thrillers. Click through for the video. More »

Thirty years after Leo McKern vacated the role, it's time to meet the new Number Two. AMC is bringing back Patrick McGoohan's classic sixties paranoiafest The Prisoner with Jim "Passion of the Christ" Caviezel taking over the role of the secret agent who finds that there's no such thing as an easy way out of the intelligence game. More »

Before there was Lost's Dharma Initiative there was The Village from the trippy/paranoid 1960s TV series The Prisoner. And now a six-part miniseries is in the works remaking this spy-trapped-in-paradise show, starring Jim "Jesus" Caviezel as Number 6 and Ian McKellen as his main adversary, Number 2. More details about the future fantasy Prisoner after the jump. More »

The poster for M. Night Shyamalan's latest theater-emptying film The Happening hit the net today, and it looks like he's fallen even farther out of touch with audiences. At least he's still in love with apocalyptic scenarios. In The Happening all plantlife on Earth has started spraying an invisible neurotoxin that kills anyone who breathes it, and soon there are just a few remaining survivors who get led by Marky Mark Wahlberg into the realms of poor box-office receipts. Even the poster tagline just makes you feel like the marketing department half-assed this one: "We've Sensed It, We've Seen The Signs. Now... It's Happening." [ComingSoon] <a href="http://io9.com/331403/m-nights-latest-movie-just-aint-happening" title="Click here to read more about M.
