This is what love looks like in the future

Oni Press' new graphic novel A Boy and a Girl is, as you might have surmised, about a boy and a girl falling in love. But there's a catch: The girl is actually a lifelike robot, whose assignment to to live secretly among humans is ending. We're proud to present this 13-page preview of the comic, which is basically a scifi movie directed by '80s-era John Hughes — a charming love story and examination of emotion, set among flying cars and cock-blocking androids.

A Boy and a Girl, written by Jamie S. Rich and drawn by Natalie Nourigat, will be released on December 18th, wherever really good comic books are sold.
