A University of Connecticut professor's obsession with realizing time travel will be made into Spike Lee film, with no mention of a DeLorean or a phone booth. The Girl 6 director has bought the movie rights to the memoirs of Ronald Mallett, called Time Traveler: A Scientist's Personal Mission to Make Time Travel a Reality, and he plans to co-write and direct the film version.
