If you like post-apocalyptic military science fiction and anime, then you're in luck. Writer Ai Ōta, who has worked on mega-mobile-armor anime series Gundam, has announced that she's teaming up with Shinji Aramaki, director of the cyborg warfare movie Appleseed (pictured), on a new series called Viper's Creed.
Anime News Network says, "The story revolves around the members of a private military company (PMC), and the uneasy tension between them and the regular military after a war that caused massive environmental destruction." The series will premiere early next year. Expect lots of mecha and mobile armor action. [via ANN]
