When will we see more of Peter Capaldi's costume on Doctor Who?S

Doctor Who

Following the pre-"Day of the Doctor" storm of news is the post-"Day of the Doctor" wave of speculation and follow-up. First up is Steven Moffat talking about whether or not we'd see Peter Capaldi's Doctor be "a grumpy Scotsman," as he'd hinted before might be the case:

No, not particularly, wait and see. He hasn't actually really started, he's done his first little moment and we're working towards that Doctor, but it's quite a lengthy process and personally I think it's right to let that process run into the next part of the series as that Doctor finds himself. Matt's Doctor changed quite considerably during his first series and we shall allow Peter to find himself. So saying he's a grumpy Scotsman is a gag at the expense of the grumpy Scotsman talking to you now.

He also commented on whether there's a costume yet. "The Day of the Doctor" carefully didn't show anything of his clothes, but does that mean they don't have them picked out yet? Apparently, yes:

There is a long standing tradition that that must be done at the heart-stopping last minute. We're working on it and it's his usual thing and it will be fine. I loved it when people used to think, 'Oh look, Steven Moffat has put Karen Gillan in a mini-skirt.' Yeah what Karen Gillan does is say, 'Hey Steven what am I going to wear?'

David Bradley, who played William Hartnell in An Adventure in Time and Space, was asked if he'd be willing, in a weird bit of meta-casting, to play the First Doctor in the show. He said:

Well that's a big question, and it was put to Mark Gatiss the other night at the BFI screening and he was hedging his bets over it.

In a way we feel like we've honoured the Doctor Who history and honoured William Hartnell's memory in a way, so, if that was it, then we'd all be perfectly happy because it feels like the writing and the direction and the performances have all gone down very well with the audience.

If we left it at that I'd be perfectly happy, but if someone came up with the notion of doing it, of course, you know, it's such an honour to be in Doctor Who anyway and to have played such a great iconic actor in such an iconic part of TV history.

Colin Baker also commented on not being in the special and on Peter Davison's sketch, "The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot," saying:

You know, all or none - that's what I would have thought. I know Tom did it for longer than anybody else and he's the oldest Doctor but by asking him and not us, it makes you feel like a second-class citizen, a bit.

I'm so glad Peter had the idea of doing our thing. Because it was there for the fans. I know the population at large don't care if all the old Doctors are in it or not but I think there's enough Doctor Who fans who would have loved to have seen us in it. Even though I don't look the same, none of us look exactly the same, but I look very much not the same.

Even if there was a way to get a small part in it, which we would have done with very good grace because we care about giving back because we've been given so much over the years by the fans - their unending devotion, which has been fantastic. It would have been nice to give back to them but it wasn't to happen.

And I didn't expect it to happen but then Peter came up with the idea of the film which is about us trying to get into it [the 50th Anniversary Special]. In a way, I'm glad we didn't do it now [appear in The Day of the Doctor] because I'm so proud of that [The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot].

And the BBC's released a little deleted scene from "The Day of the Doctor." [via Blogtor Who]

Finally, something that could be true, it's hard to tell since the original youtube poster's deleted their account. Commenter Chris Straits pointed us to a video on youtube with this description:

I got this apparent audition clip from a youtube user account IzzyAlive (which now seems to have been deleted) who claimed:
"A friend of mine in an actors co-operative agency got sent this
clip with 4 others in an email that they'd been 'CC'D into when casting another show I can't mention. The other 3 clips were relevant to the show they were casting but this one was marked 'The Master DW2014' (Moff select final review clip)."

I don't know who the actor is but maybe they're going with an 'unknown' to play The Master after casting a 'known' actor in Peter Capaldi to play the 12th Doctor?

I guess we'll find out soon enough.

No idea how legitimate this is, but if it is, it points to Capaldi's Doctor meeting up with the Master in his first season. You can see the clip below.

American Horror Story: Coven

It's true: next season will be Jessica Lange's last. She explained why, saying:

It ends up being a lot of time during the year being committed to something. I haven't done that for a long time. It's like doing a stage play between the rehearsal and the run. This is a 6-month commitment every year. That will be four years in a row. I want to have more time to myself I guess. Once it's over and I have a full year ahead of me with nothing to do, who knows? It might not have been the best decision. But I think four years doing something is a sufficient amount of time.

Ryan Murphy's said that her last season won't see Lange as the lead, but with a "great juicy part." [Entertainment Weekly]

Almost Human

J.H. Wyman explains that, as with a lot of these shows, the bigger arc will wait until the show's established itself a bit. However, there are clues that have already been shown:

What we really wanted to do was establish ourselves in the first run of four or five episodes, six episodes. With 'Fringe' it took a long time to unfold and figure out what we wanted to do. This is more upfront.

You'll have to pay attention to some small things. Not many people have noticed, but there are these red balls that are hanging in the air and doing things. What are those? How come nobody is reacting to them? The people in the show know what they are, but we don't know what they are. There's a lot of really interesting things that you can look back on later.

Wyman also commented on the possibility of crossing over with Fox's other Monday night show, Sleepy Hollow:

That would be awesome! You would have to do a time jump.

Look, Ichabod and Abbie have already visited the lost colony of Roanoke. The future should totally be possible. Get on it, Sleepy Hollow! [MTV]

Sleepy Hollow

Speaking of Sleepy Hollow, stars Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie spoke about tonight's episode, "Sanctuary," which is said to be a game-changer. First, Abbie and Ichabod spend the episode in a haunted house. Not just a random haunted house, according to Mison:

[The house] is very important to Ichabod's past. Katrina knows an awful lot about it — and the people who used to live there know an awful lot about Katrina.

Beharie echoes that the house has personal ties to the characters, saying:

It's spooky. And there's this really interesting twist to its history that is super-personal for both characters.

Also, if Captain Irving, Jenny, and a bunch of weapons are something that sounds good to you, this episode will serve you well. [TV Line]

True Blood

Well, this may put some speculation about the final season to rest. According to William Keck, the show's casting Vampire Eric's new love interest for the season — a French woman named Aka Sylvie. [Keck Exclusives Twitter]

The Vampire Diaries

There's going to be a romance between two series regulars this season. It'll be be slightly unexpected given the history between the two and one of them will give "much-needed help" to the other. While a good guess might be Stefan and Caroline, the actors who play those characters don't agree about whether they should get together or not, which may hint that it's not definitely in the cards yet. Arrow

The description for the mid-season finale, "Three Ghosts," has something interesting for eagle-eyed DC fans. It says:

After a fight with Cyrus Gold AKA the Acolyte (guest star Graham Shiels), Oliver is drugged and left for dead. Determined to cure him, Felicity makes a risky decision. The cure causes Oliver to hallucinate, and what he sees forces him to confront his past. Meanwhile, Barry (guest star Grant Gustin) continues to help Felicity, and their connection grows stronger. The Arrow asks Lance to look into Gold, but when the stakeout on Gold goes bad, someone is killed. Roy (Colton Haynes) is captured and tortured by Brother Blood (guest star Kevin Alejandro). John Behring directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kresiberg and teleplay by Geoff Johns & Ben Sokolowski.

"Cyrus Gold" is also Solomon Grundy's human name. This could be just a shout-out, but, since we know powers are coming soon to this show, it could also be setting up Gold's transformation into Grundy as a plot point. [Coming Soon]

Once Upon a Time

Christopher Gorham, of Ugly Betty and Covert Affairs, will appear briefly, but the short appearance could pave the way for future ones. The character is nameless, but is an "important character in the life of Emma Swan." [Entertainment Weekly]

Grimm

According to Bree Turner, who plays Rosalee, there are a lot of difficulties in the way of her character and Monroe's relationship:

We pretty much get shot out of a cannon. All of the [rosiness] that's been part of our courtship really gets a lot of challenges - in terms of our families and the old-fashioned, old-world views of two species mixing. [Some Wesen have a problem with] mixed relationships and how that affects the Wesen world, and that we're a modern couple breaking the mold. [There's also the issue of] working with the Grimm, being friends with the Grimm, changing the new world order. We're sort of reinventing what the world is about for us.

She also says that episode 3.11 is a good Rosalie episode, saying:

It explains, where was I for those seven years? Why did I fall off the grid? Why did I turn to this darker path? It basically explains a lot of who Rosalee is in 3.11.

The Woods

Chuck co-creator Chris Fedak is executive producing a project for Syfy. The possible series is horror-based, and is described thusly:

A young woman returns to the mysterious wooded mansion her sister disappeared from when they were girls, only to learn that the sinister beings that took her sister are still there.

Lifetime's officially renewed it for a thirteen-episode second season. Read Lifetime executive Rob Sharenow's statement for a hilarious jumble of PR buzzwords:

Agents of SHIELD

Episode ten, "The Bridge," will be the first half of Agents of SHIELD's first two-part episode. It'll also see the return of J. August Richard's character from the pilot, Mike Peterson. Here's the official synopsis:

In a shocking cliffhanger episode, Coulson takes the war back to Centipede, and this time he brings in Mike Peterson for some super-soldier support. As they get closer to the truth, startling secrets are revealed and an unexpected twist threatens the team.
