Star Wars

The latest rumor comes from The Sun tabloid, which claims that Tom Cruise has been in London, meeting with J.J. Abrams, and working out a cameo in the film. [The Sun via Comic Book.com]

From Latino Review come the anonymously sourced details that the "mercenary" villains appearing in the film will be Mandalorians, the warrior group most associated with Mandalorian-armor wearing Boba Fett. They also claim that there will be some kind of Sith witch or witches. No clue if they will in any way be based on the Force witches of Dathomir, and their Dark-sided Nightsisters. As always with unsourced rumors, keep all the salt handy. [Latino Review]

Domhnall Gleeson is deeply terrified of revealing any details, but he did tell MTV why he was willing to do such a major film:

The truth of the matter is, I was in 'Harry Potter' and I can walk in the street and no one bothers me," Gleeson continued. "It's totally fine. The only reason I'm doing 'Star Wars' is because the script is great, because J.J. [Abrams] is great, and because the cast are great. And that's what you look for in any movie. So in a way, it's just another job.

I could destroy my life if I gave away one of the secrets, really quickly. I'm just always with a no-talk policy about it.

Guardians of the Galaxy

Director James Gunn'll be featured an the upcoming issue of BIRTH. MOVIES. DEATH., the Alamo Drafthouse magazine, and in it he confirmed that the giant floating head in the trailers was Knowhere, the Guardians' base, and that the film includes the Celestials:

We have a couple of Celestials who we refer to in the film. They're part of the overall structure of the cosmic universe. They're part of the fun of what the movie is.

He also hinted that there would be characters "bigger" than Thanos, which could mean anything from the Collector (who we know is in the film) to something else:

Our characters, to some degree, have super powers, but at the same time they're just ordinary citizens of the galaxy. They just happen to be renegades - they're basically bikers. They're just these ordinary citizens who get caught up in this thing - because they want money in the beginning - that has completely cosmic overtones. There are characters like Thanos involved, and then there are characters bigger than that. Suddenly these mortals are playing in the fields of gods. I always find that a very interesting thing.

The Walking Dead

Norman Reedus spoke with Entertainment Weekly from the set of season 5, describing a show that has all the characters firing on all cylinders:

These scripts are the best scripts so far, and I'm really just excited to be back at it. There are a lot of characters right now, so there are a lot of really different personalities on set. And it's super interesting, everyone's really bringing it. It's going great. It's so dynamic because it's so fast-paced and so complicated. It's great to be back.

... Everybody on the whole team is so badass right now. It's interesting, because a lot of personalities are clashing, or characters' personalities are clashing. But yeah, we definitely have Rick back.
