Who's your Big Daddy? Concept art from that cancelled Bioshock movieS

Remember the Bioshock movie that almost got made a few years back? Now at last, here's your first glimpse of what it could have looked like, thanks to concept artist Tim Flattery.

Universal was pretty serious about making a movie out of the amazing video game Bioshock, with Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean) directing. But just like At the Mountains of Madness, Universal balked at spending $200 million on an R-rated movie. When the budget was slashed to $80 million, Verbinski bailed, and the new low-budget vision eventually didn't please Bioshock creator Ken Levine, who pulled the plug.

Now artist Tim Flattery has posted his art for the film, and you can see what Big Daddy might have looked like on the big screen. [via Comic Book Movie]
