How is there going to be a sequel, anyhow? I thought all the Heinleiners were hitting the trail and that was that. Not that i'm not glad it's coming! Also, shouldn't 'The Last Dangerous Visions' also make this list?

puckrod

I couldn't get into Golden Globe. I'll give it a try again. Steel Beach was fantastic. Can't wait to shoot up more Varley.

I still can't figure out why Titan wasn't made into a epis movie trilogy.

FrankenPC

When i bought Red Thunder w/o looking at it, assuming that no way is varley going to do something else, and found it to be a huge pile of shit, my entire worldview crumbled a bit. Golden Globe and Steel Beach are the best post-heinlien books of their type. I WANT IRONTOWN!!!!

nutbastard

Biggest slacker in SF: Luke Skywalker. Why?

Instead of joining the Rebellion, he whines about how he wants to join the Rebellion and refuses to move out of Uncle Owen's basement until Owen and Berru were charcoal briquets.

Luke thought he was the shiz-nit. Just look how he bragged about shooting womprats in his T-16. The T-16 Skyhopper was the SW equivalent of a 1981 VW Rabbit. I say that because comparing a T-16 to a Gremlin is an insult to Gremlins.

Hey Luke, you're not cool and all the black art-house trash outfits won't change that. While Biggs was off fighting for something, Luke was living like Fonz above the garage. Lousy punk.

Other things Luke would rather do than join up - hang out at the Toshi Station mall. SLACKER! When R2-D4 blew a bad motivator, Luke ran to Uncle Owen to get the jawas to take the droid back. A better plan would have been to haggle down the price of the droid and replace the motivator. But that would involve Luke dirtying up his hands.

I can go on but I won't. There isn't enough storage on Gawker's servers to list all the reasons that Luke Skywalker is SF's biggest slacker.

OMG! Ponies!
