]]> <![CDATA[Become a Voice in the Machine with io9 Comments]]> Until JUne 27, 2008 I did not believe that Bigfoot existed in Georgia. I believed there was a possibility that they really did exist in the Northwest United States even though being raised in the North Georgia Mountains I heard local folklore regarding big hairy beasts that could walk upright like a man but I never believed this stuff because nobody offered me any proof that anything like this existed. I remember a few times walking through the woods and wondered how some trees would be tangled together ten through twelve feet in the air like something had tied them together so I many times had wondered about the validity of this particular folklore but not once did I ever see such of a creature and I am one that is very hard to be convinced about something unless I see and or hear it myself. But the last week of June two friends and their wives returned from their trip to Blue Ridge Georgia with footage of a hairy animal standing by a tree and a face like I have never seen before in any movie, documentary nor zoo.
After knowing my two friends(which are first cousins) for over twenty-five years I have never heard of them ever making up any kind of prank or hoaxe to get attention or make someone look stupid. Like in the footage my one friend is stating that he never really believed in the animal Bigfoot but the sounds that he was hearing was not a bear and in the tape you can hear echos in the background as they approach the area of these animals(two or more). Before they see the one in front of them there are legs of another one to the left of them which they were two hundred feet in the woods off of a road off of hwy 515 between Blue Ridge and Blairsville Georgia. After seeing the footage showing one pair of legs to the left befor moving past a tree and seeing this animal standing a distance away from them makes me believe my friends becausif this is another one of those costumes or a hoaxe I have to give them credit for not only sound effects but the costume is definately original because I have searched the internet looking for such costumes ande the only one that I found was the one those idiots used in a frezer to trick the public and it does not look anything like this animal my friends have on tape. As a matter of a fact this footage would have been available for the public to view if those damn idiots had never started their hoaxe with that costume my credibility would stand a better chance against the public scrutiny. What I do have going for me is tha I am real known in this state for being a child advocate and writing what is now OCGA 42-1-12(Megans Law of Georgia 2005) and am preparing a petition to abolish the statute of limitations in this state for child molestation for victims less than ten years of age. But I am going to make this footage available for a sasquatch researcher in Villa Rica before I provide it to the media.

]]> <![CDATA[Become a Voice in the Machine with io9 Comments]]> Has anyone noticed that near the end of the second clip from "Abducted by Daleks" there are a few seconds of the theme music played on a theremin from the film "The Day the Earth Stood Still"? (Hollywood, came out in 1957 or thereabouts). In the film, the craft lands on the front lawn of the White House. This theme is played when the alien craft starts to open up and the alien investigator (played by Michael Rennie) emerges. Near the end it is played just before attacking forces are blasted by the guardian robot Gort.
Thanks for these clips. They're a hoot.
