Actually, wise-assedness aside, creative biotech seems long overdue. Didn't the Soviet Union work on this type of stuff? Viral bacteriophages in place of antibiotics?

Bacteria have so much potential to fix a lot of the damage we've done to the planet and ourselves. I'd like to augment my immune system with some super stuff.

]]> <![CDATA[Biotech Is The New Nanotech]]> You know, it's funny. People are always talking about nanotech, and tiny robots and shit. But it always kind of seemed to me that the smaller you made robots, the more like microscopic organisms they'd become.

I feel like once you start to get to that level, there's not a huge difference between biotech and nanotech.
