Streiber has a knack for scary stories - both Communion and Majestic are downright creepy, and who can forget Wolfen? OK, maybe some people. Anyway, Spector has also written some scary stuff in his time, so the chances are good that this will turn out to be an effective shocker. Not the Dane Cook kind.
