He's simply observing that they are great storytellers in their own right, as evidenced by the great work they've published like ROCK AND ROLL and DE:TALES.

But CASANOVA is brilliant. And I can't believe that a science fiction blog got through an entire piece on it without mentioning how much the Quinn family dynamic is influenced by Moorcock's CORNELIUS QUARTET.
