I mean Cyclops pretty much had a fine tail girlfriend who died, then he married her clone, then fine tail comes back to life, dies again, gives blessing to run away to Savage Land with blond fine tail.

DD? Girlfriends all die (with the exception of the Black Widow, who's emotionally dead). Blessing in disguise? Not for me to judge, but you can't deny the bad luck the writers put him through.
