On one hand, I hate it whenever someone does Verne, because I know I could do better. On the other hand, Fraizer never ceases to shock me, so there's something of a turnaround there.

Sure, maybe the plot is kinda basic, but I liked (I saw the footage too) the plucky heroine character a lot, actually. And Brendan Fraser is silly and fun.
