I think that Galactica will find Earth. It will be Earth in the future. We will find out that our future Earth colonized Kobol initially so all Galactica people are in essence Earth descendants.

The twist? After the initial colonization (or the reason for the colonization) Earth went through a World War type of global destruction. No one left. Galactica must now repopulate the Earth.

All happened before, all will happen again? Maybe the new "earthlings" will be able to keep from destroying themselves and possibly having to evacuate Earth again to go out and search for new worlds. New worlds such as the fabled Kobol...

steven522

i call shenannigans on the galactica rumour. From a storytelling perspective they can take that route if they want, but its sloppy storytelling.

Things like the 24 hour clock, references to the merchant of venice, and others leads me to say that the origin of everything was earth.

the scrolls that were written on kobol say "life here began out there." meaning kobol wasn't the first. I think the 13th tribe went back to earth.

that would put the timeline of BSGs current events firmly in our future.

capntim

lol @ xena mistake.

Funny thing is, I had a dream last night that I was talking to Renee O'Connor (who played Gabrielle in Xena) asking if the show was popular in New Zealand and if she still gets recognized.

As for Starbuck dying again, I've always theorized that Roslin is *not* the dying leader who gets them to Earth, that it truly is Starbuck who fills that role. If she dies again, then I may be correct in my theory.

apronk
