Family-friendly? Yeah, in that Canadian way which involves realistic treatment of pot smoking, underage drinking and high school sex. They don't have dramatic angsty treatment of those issues like the OC, and they don't whitewash it like 7th Heaven. The kids drink, occasionally have sex and don't die or succumb to horrible fates. Sometimes things get complicated, that's all. It's all just part of life. Which I think is pretty awesome.

I watch Kyle XY. Its actually pretty good if you can get past the kid friendly family and friends aspect. Unfortunately thats 60 percent of the show. Oh and the ridiculous telekinesis stuff which is another 30%.

]]> <![CDATA[TV This Week: Sarah Connor's Last Stand!]]> Ben Ten is an interesting cartoon based on the idea that Ben the main character has recovered an Alien Artifact (bracelet) that allows him to morph into certain Alien Creatures based on what DNA he has captured with it. Continuing on this he battles multiple foes along with his Uncle and Cousin. It's an interesting show, but seems to be driving at the younger male crowd with the spin on the action and dialogue.
