dollhouse sounds like a couple dozen animes i've seen in many respects. it would be nice if an american live action version of a concept is better developed and revealed than an anime counterpart but i'm not holding my breath.

I really hope the Jin and Sun episode is good. Those tend to lag for some reason, but they have so much momentum coming out of the Desmond thing last week that I expect it to be quality.

The Dollhouse sounds neat. Not to geek out too much, but it sounds similar to an anime series I watched called Darker than Black. There's a similar category of people who can be wiped and reprogrammed, plus one of them is a main character, and begins to gain self-awareness despite being an empty husk. Not that I'm accusing Mr. Whedon of plagiarism (so overused on the internet), I mean it's not like it's a particularly original idea or anything. I just hope he can explore the concept more fully and eloquently than DtB did, since it wasn't really all that well done.
