My husband and I are huge fans, and I genuinely hope that even if CBS drops it that it gets shifted to another network. The show needs work, granted, but its a show that's actually worth being worked on.

And the heartwarming stuff is the lifeblood of the town - the Mimi/Stanley thing is really refreshing when contrasted with the awful Eric/bartender chick thing AND now that we don't have Gail and Johnston portraying the bedrock, Stanley and Mimi are it.

We heard shots at the same time, so I suspect Goetz figured it was better to slink home and tend to his wounds, rather than bleed out looking for Mimi.

I figured Mimi would be out, to bring Stanley back into the 'resistance', but, being Bonnie should hopefully give a different dynamic. Then again Jake going off all half-cocked after the New Bern people just didn't seem in character to begin with so this was certainly an improvement.

Their plot was semi-annoying--but I liked Bonnie and she didn't deserve to die.

The whole RavenWood / Blackwater thing is getting so freaking used up and old it makes me sick. Network TV is simply against anything about our government. NBC, CBS, ABC all have tv shows/agenda shows that are tuned to subetly shift your views.

Whateva.. I just wanna escape, that is what TV is about.

I love the show warts and all. yeah dale is an annoying little dork and the heart warming stuff is boring, but man this kind of science fiction is pretty rare outside of books and not even that common there.

It's not Lost or Battlestar, but it's got a fairly good plot and decent characters. As for the "heartwarming" stuff, I don't really mind at all -- it solidifies the "home town" feel that Jericho is supposed to have.

When I as about 10 my uncle handed me a shotgun and let me take a shot at some cans he'd set up. I pulled the trigger and the gun went one direction and I went the other. He caught the gun and let me hit the ground. My shoulder ached for a week.

Season 2 has been great in that they seem to have realized this and really amped up the spy vs spy intrigue stuff, which, while certainly not originaly, is a lot more entertaining than lovey cornball drama. (the way they do it on Jericho that is).

Personally, while more tolerable this season, I find Dale and his girlfriend to be the worst characters on the show. Last season it was all about his bully troubles and working at the convenience store, meh. This season he's a smuggler, which is pretty bad ass, but I still can't stand that smarmy scoff look he gets whenever he hears something he doesn't like. (See community meeting bar scene.)

And as for Jericho being cancelled (again), who honestly didn't see that coming? I actually think the season and show will be better for it. Would Bonnie have died if the show had a 3rd and 4th season coming?
