New Amsterdam is sort of like Highlander run through Angel. Fantasy, certainly, but there's nothing sciencey about it.

Any news on when Kyle XY will be returning? I want to know what happens next!!!

@thesilentnight @boomer359: I gave New Amsterdam a watch after the whole "Sci-fi or not?" argument in one of the threads and I didn't think it was that good. The Sci-Fi part (he's immortal) seems more like an afterthought, added in later to give a generic "cop drama" more appeal.

And call me crazy, but Jericho doesn't really do it for me either. I don't see what the BFD is or how it would inspire anyone to send peanuts to save it.

Here's something I always kind of wondered about interstellar gateways:

If the gateway actually has something to do with space itself, doesn't that mean it should be absolutely stationary when compared to the Earth? And even if it's not, isn't the planet careering around some tortuous path that's the result of all kinds of crazy orbits? Why is the gate staying over the Hudson River Valley?
