Finally watched it last night.

Actually, the best part of it had to be the Jaws speech, what felt like word for word (at least the beginning), delivered by who I always see in his role in Millennium, even tho I can't remember what it was.

BTW, my wife agrees. The chick sidekick with the guns was the best part of the show.

I had an epiphany about SciFi's movies - I think they reproducing the cheap, cheesy horror and science fiction movies from the 50s and 60s, the kind I used to watch as a kid on Son of Svengoolie. Once I started seeing them in this light, they became much more entertaining and almost nostalgia-inducing.
