I always thought the "Alien" movies would have been a lot funnier if they used ass huggers instead of face huggers.

I'll give you a minute to reimagine Kane on the operating table with thing attached to his ass, almost enjoying it. (Dallas: "We've got to get this off him!" Kane: "Yeah no rush.")

Now imagine the infamous dinner scene and try to imagine the hilarious sound effects one might add to creature blasting it's way out of John Hurt's (oh the sweet irony of his last name) posterior.

The Blobb

Starring Jonah Hill as Barry Lobb (B. Lobb, get it?), the guy who accidently eats his brother's (Jay Baruchel) science expirement while on the munchies after getting high. The result is the always hungry BLOBB who runs (or rolls) around town eating anything and everything in his path, trying to put an end to his permanent munchies.
Meanwhile, his brother enlists the help of his zany chemistry professor (Billy Conolly) to find a cure, and his cousin (Seth Rogen) home from the army reserves to catch and restrain Barry. Sounds awful...ly HILLARIOUS.

i think one of those movies that takes itself so seriously like Stalker with woody allen as the prof - and instead of the film mode change over to colour it could be a changeover to acid-delusional tie-dye. The Zone could be a hippie enclave and the sacred room could be... hmm.. the metaphor of the perfect joint...
Or - we could just do Brazil but with steve martin and john candy as surgeon and protagonist respectively... put in the spirit of trains, planes, and autos.. amusement-ness ensues...
