I'm just wondering how this connects to the current audio series, given that the same production company seems to be behind both. (The audio series is a reboot, not a sequel.)

I wouldn't mind seeing Paul Darrow doing some guest spots. Possibly as an advisor to the new Servalan.

Although there certainly has been a number of vampy/campy femme fatales about recently (Flash Gordon, Tin Man), getting a great Sevalan would be nice.

Michele Forbes (Razor) certainly has the iron fist part down, but I am not sure she could do the velvet glove.

I've been dreaming of a "Blakes 7" revival for years now. The idea that the Federation was evil was like an elixir to someone who was really burned-out on STs phoney humanitarian hogwash ('Oh yah, we got cool tech and we stopped being a**holes like, two minutes later!...") There will always be an Evil Empire somewhere, as long as human nature remains as it is, and there will always be madmen trying to monkeywrench it...

Mixed mind on this. It all depends on who they get as a showrunner and writers.
I don't think a "continuation" is a wise idea. Probably best to do a reboot.
Having Avon it it would just bring too many comparisons to the original.

Hopefully they will follow the Dr Who Model (likely) rather than the Bionic Woman Model.

If it were possible, I would love to see Patrick Stewart play a Fed heavy.
