I could never figure out why the damn cartoon keeps coming back. It's not a particularly good cartoon in it's original form.

It should have been relegated to the same history as Hong Kong Phooey and the Grape Ape. Or maybe Kimba the white lion. At least Kimba had some historical significance.

I still watched it and all but never without thinking that it kind of sucked. My favorite "tic" is how he has long, drawn out overreactions with the steering wheel. Classic bad stuff. Maybe that's the allure.
