That guy's got a particular hard on for Galactica, and completely and miserably failed to move past it...ever. He was slagging the new series long before it went on the air, all the while pitching his own re-treado of the original series.

Conflict of interest? Nah. Not at all. Not if you're a Republican, anyway.

As for these two...I suppose it'll depend on the plotline they get dragged into, but it could be more in line with the way that the Thomas Crown Affair with Rene Russo / Pierce Brosnan slotted Faye Dunaway in. It could have been any actress, and the character fit into the plot nicely...that they chose to use Faye Dunaway just gave a classy nod to the original.

Why oh why do I suspect that Disney will suck, though, and write a crappy script that draws these two into it.

Hollywood really has run out of new ideas, hasn't it?
