Power Pack has potential though. Kids. Aliens. Relatively unpopular, so not a lot of sacred cows.

I think Iron Man benefits from that last part: because he was never really a "Rank A" super hero (Spiderman, X-Men etc.) the movie benefits. Not that Iron Man wasn't cool and all, just that it's a bit easier than say...Wolverine, around whom you've got a huge existing fan base.

@Kiamat: Reboot Ghost Rider? We already had that, last year. Horrible horrible movie. Any superhero movie with Nicholas Cage should probably be approached with caution.

As for movie suggestions, Power Pack would be an amazing kiddie film. It would gross extremely well. I just don't know who any of their villains are and how they could defeat them in an entertaining way that would be acceptable to kids.

As for the rest of the Marvel Universe, Deadpool would be the best choice for a movie. Iron Man proved that repeatedly slamming the main character into things is funny, so just do that TIMES TEN to a character with regeneration. And if you want someone who could definitely write a great voice the character, try to pull in Frank Miller. Not only does he have a thing for constant, constant narration - but his writing definitely embraces the absurd side of things. Anyone who has read All-Star Batman and Robin should understand what I'm saying here.

The key to a successful Dr. Strange movie would be making it not a super-hero movie. if it was more fantastic & weird, it could be good-- Harry Potter is actually a good model, though it would have to be less saccarine than the early movies and more like the goblet of fire. but if they go for high-octane, colorful, superhero-y it's not gonna work.
