If I am going to buy pre-made terrain, then it better be painted. I am not going to pay $20.00 for a piece of terrain which is unpainted.

Paint it up and texture it and it makes awesome sci fi buildings. You can also make good fantasy buildings with foam core and balsa wood timbering. Buying figures is expensive enough, make your own scenery!

]]> <![CDATA[The Tabletop Apocalypse Comes to Smoking, Ruinous Life]]> It's fairly easy to make terrain as well. I know the Warhammer/Warhammer 40k hobby has a ton of do-it-yourself tutorials, and of course, sell their own terrain.

Having made a bit myself, it's pretty easy. Just a bit of sand, some PVA glue, and plenty of primer and paint.
